Deano Pape

Deano Pape has presented on the effects of social media and cellphone technologies in high schools and middle schools across the country. He has taught college courses in Social Media Criticism, Persuasion & Mass Media, and Fake News. Deano is Assistant Director of Speech & Debate and Teaching Specialist in Multimedia Communication at Simpson College. He is also Curriculum Coordinator for the Public Speaking & Argumentation division of the Harvard Debate Council Summer Institutes. Deano served as Director of Forensics and Assistant Professor of Communication at Ripon College for 17 years.
